My Practice

I am a licensed clinical psychologist in California (PSY 36703), focusing on long term psychotherapy for adults.

It is my belief that therapy should feel supportive and collaborative. When we begin working together, my priority is for you to feel heard and understood. I strive to be authentic, empathic, and sincere, while making sure the therapeutic process feels like teamwork. Above all, I aim to develop trust and safety, and will always make sure we remain aligned on your goals and needs.

My approach is primarily psychodynamic and relational. This means we will focus on the impact of your past experiences, the quality of your relationships, and your emotional functioning. By identifying maladaptive patterns, sorting through difficult conflicts, and processing intense feelings, we will seek to soothe your distress and suffering, build pathways to personal fulfillment, and consider how your relationships can be more productive and enriching.

When helpful, I often integrate cognitive-behavioral strategies, so you can feel equipped with a set of tools and exercises tailored specifically to you.

Overall, it is my hope for you to feel more in control of your life by getting to know yourself, feeling better understood by others, and considering how your hopes for the future can be brought into reach.
